Adam went home to be with Lord last night. You can go here to read his story. But let me tell you, his story is so much more. We were youth pastors in Auburn, NE from 1996 to 2002. Adam attended our youth group. He actually did more than just attend. He was a part of it. He is my husband’s best friend and the older brother our Tieki always wanted. He was the loving husband of 2 and a half years to Danielle. He was the youngest son of Jim and Kathy. He was a brother and most likely the most fun and crazy uncle that his nieces and nephews could possibly have. He is Adam.
Here is the music Adam sang. The video in the middle is all Adam. If you have time, find out who he is and you will be amazed by the number of lives he has touched.
In 2003, our friend and Adam’s friend, Michael, went home to be with the Lord. Michael was also in our youth. He was 19 when he left this world. Both these young men did more for the sake of the Gospel in their short time spans on earth than most Christians really do in a life time. So, if the world feels a little strange today, just know that the two of them are running loose in Heaven. I just hope they behave.

O no.
I have their myspace on and I like it. (i never say that lightly).
I’m so sorry. I know he is in a better place but that doesn’t make the pain for those left behind better. So i will be lifting you guys up and his family and friends.

Thank you Scott and MZ. We are still in shock and are waiting to see when we will need to travel to Nebraska for the funeral. As hard as this is, we still smile each time we think of that kid. He really was a riot, a one of a kind.
His music is sweet, huh? When he was in our youth, he was the lead singer for the youth praise and worship band. My husband was the guitar player. I know Ted dreamed of playing music with Adam again — which he will, just not here on earth.
